Anthura respects the privacy of all customers and users of its website. We ensure that the personal information you share with us is treated confidentially. This privacy statement applies exclusively to Anthura’s products and services.

If you place an order or provide other personal data, you expressly consent to the processing of your personal data.

  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Bank account number
  • Other personal data that may be relevant for the fulfilment of an order you have placed

When processing personal data, we do not make use of profiling or automated decision-making.

Purpose
The main purpose for processing personal data is always to fulfil an order or other agreement specifically made between the contact/customer and Anthura. We also process this data to send general newsletters to which you have subscribed. In addition, you may be approached directly for individual advice or a general news item, message or recommendation.

The data will not be used for any other purposes than those agreed on, and it will never be resold or forwarded to third parties without your explicit consent. However, your personal data may be shared with other Anthura employees for internal use.

Termination and revocation
You have the right to removal of your personal data at any time and can submit a written request by post or by email to Anthura’s postal address or general email address. Moreover, while we may need to contact a third party to fulfil an order, Anthura only shares the information required for this purpose. However, we have no oversight or control over the processing of personal data by third parties.

Data access, removal and transfer and complaints and questions

  • A request to access, receive, transfer, rectify or remove personal data can be submitted via Anthura’s general email address: [email protected].
  • If you wish to object to the processing of personal data, you can do so at any time by sending an email to [email protected].
  • If you wish to file a complaint, you can send an email to [email protected].
  • You can send any other questions or requests for information to [email protected].

We will handle these requests within a short timeframe, at the latest within one month. Should this period not be feasible, for whatever reason, we will inform you in good time and handle the request within three months from receipt.

Data breaches
On 1 January 2016, the data breach notification obligation as laid down in the Dutch Data Protection Act came into effect. As set out below, we have implemented the necessary organisational and technical safeguards to protect your data from unlawful processing and loss.

  • Various platform-dependent security measures.
  • Periodic backups.
  • Keeping our systems up to date.
  • Security software such as a virus scanner and firewall.
  • TLS (formerly SSL): we send your data via a secure internet connection as indicated by the https address bar and the padlock in the address bar.
  • We use DKIM to prevent you from receiving emails purporting to be from us that are spam, contain viruses or are intended to obtain personal login or other data.
  • We use DNSSEC as additional security (complementary to DNS) to convert a domain name (#company_website) to its associated IP address (server name) via a digital signature. You can have that signature checked automatically so that you are not redirected to a fake IP address.

Anthura does everything possible to prevent loss or the unlawful processing of data. If a serious data breach occurs, we will notify the Dutch Data Protection Authority without delay. If it believes the data breach will adversely affect your privacy, you will be informed accordingly.
